So went out last night to a bar which had been told get really busy every night, even Monday nights, with live music. When we arrived, there really was NOT many people, but they insisted on seating us RIGHT in the corner. The band started at 12.30 and by then was PACKED!
And this band was AMAZING!!! They did cover versions (I dont know the word when really the song is totally different, in different style, etc), but mostly in Portugese, with a few English songs thrown in. And the girls voice was SOOO amazing! Im gonna look for their CD today! (who doesnt have their CD for sale at their gigs? Honestly!) And there was this old guy (im talking 80s I reckon!) who was just ROCKING out! Most of the songs were in quite a heavy electronic style, and he was just going nuts, the only one standing up to dance through around the tables. He was awesome, I wanted to go dance with him, except that I think he would have outdanced me in 1 minute! The whole crowd was great! SInging along and clapping and it was just a great night!
Got home about 3ish, and today is beautiful and sunny and Im headed to Sintra and yeah bad mood is well and trully dissapated. Yay!

ReplyDeleteHey Sasch its mum, sound better but even when you are in a bad mood you seem to be able to find a party and stay up all night so dont winge to me. I worked yesterday after 2 weeks off and now off for a month so Iam lazi and realy looking foward to Russia, just checked the temp. still bellow 0 at night. It continues to rain here, but sunshine in between. Iam also sewing so I look classi on the boat, making a skirt out of Armani silk/wool. Your parcel has arrived all in one piece even though it was opened by custums. Best go and do some more sewing my stuff is now in the rumpus room and its working realy well I dont get as distracted, hope you stay well and dance onnnnnn love and kisses mum
