We misss you terribly and sooo look after yourself ,, OK? Love you heaps,, Dad
ReplyDeleteHey Dad! THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU!!!!! You are fantastic!
ReplyDeleteEveryou over here thinks I have the most amazing family ever, and they are right! Thankyou SO much! I've also been emailing Liz, and it sounds like everything is good now. I can't keep saying thankyou enough!
I just wandered around the city today. Was really nice. I sat in a pub for about an hour with a big dark beer. Yum! I've so gotten into the beer over here. It's awesome! Though warning! I MAY come back with a belly:) But it will be a happy one.
I also got my hair cut (very exciting), so I don't look quite so drab and homeless now :)
My hostel is REALLY cool. There's this bright orangey-red and cobalt blue wallpaper all over the place, with red lights and dark follage plants. Looks very bohemian and arty, so you can tell why I love it. And it's full of Czech people! Which is amazing for a hostel.
It's not quite in the centre. About a 20 minute walk. But with all the weight I've put on during Contiki, I'm really very glad for the extra excercise.
I've also locked in my first WWOOFing placement, and am going there on Monday. It's in Southern Moravia, 3 km from Javorice caves, 30 km north-west from Olomouc.
Mum, how does that sound? I really have no idea where that is, but have gotten details from them as to how to get there, so it should be fine. An adventure!
Apparently its mostly vegetables, goats and hens, and she says that I may get to see a goat being born (Yay or Yuck?)
I also don't know whether to do a day trip to Czesky Krumlov while I'm in Prague, or wait till after I've done the WOOFing for a month. The reason being, apparently the Castle is closed till March 31st. What do you reckon Mum? Is the castle a must?
It would be easier to do it this week, but if the Castle is a must, then I'll just have to wait till after WOOFing.
I've also secured the second WWOOFing placement, which is in Vysocina, near Lesonovice. Don't know how to get there yet, but will email and find out.
Love you all and hopefully speak to you soon.
